Loews welcome gift

Does anyone know what the "Surprise Regional Gift" is? Last time I picked milk and cookies, big mistake! They arrived while we were out and the milk was warm by the time we got back. Plus the cookies were nothing great. What is the best welcome gift to choose?

When we stayed at RPR last year we got a bottle of wine and some nuts.

The fruit and water is usually very good. Sometimes we have gotten just apples, oranges, bananas, grapes but other times we have received some more exotic fruits. The fruits have always been fresh and tasty. Great for morning snacking before leaving for the parks. We have also had the beer (3 Heinekens) and nuts before...YUM!

We had the fruit bowl and water just this weekend and it was great. They also sent cookies and milk for our son's birthday. The cookies were wonderful (especially the oatmeal raisin). The milk was just fine...they brought a huge pitcher in a bowl of ice.

The fruit and water sound like a good choice. Does anyone know what the regional surprise gift is? Right now I have that checked for our welcome gift but may switch it to fruit and water depending on what the surprise is?! Thank you for the information!

I think I remember reading here that some of the candy was inedible. I could be wrong. Go with the fruit. It's a good choice.

We stayed at RPR Dec 22-29. When I signed up for Loew's I thought I put cookies & milk, since we were traveling with the kids. Nothing said at sign in...waitied a day then asked at the front desk. They asked what I wanted, so I said fruit & water...waited another 4 days and nothing, so when I asked again..he read thru the list and I said beer & nuts. That nite we got 3 cookies (party of 4) and a 1/2 pitcher of milk. Couldn't they spare 1 more cookie ????

The shell has the RPR logo etched into it and it comes in a square wicker type wooden basket filled with Polynesian candies. You can eat them but they tasted nasty. The shell and basket are nice though and I've received it twice so I'm pretty confident in saying that is what the regional surprise is all of the time.
