Loews Gold? Which Resort

would we have the best chance of the 35.00 suite upgrade. We are going 12/2-4 and availibility at all 3 is open including suites. I would prefer not to book a suite upfront but would really like the 35.00. Do loews gold members get 1st dibbs?

I have heard that PBH has the best chance of upgrades, but have never been so lucky. BTW, did you book with any kind of discounted rate? That would negate any Loew's benefits. I think you can get away with it if you book through AAA though. Good luck!

No I didn't book yet, was just going to book AAA. Seems availabilty is plentiful so I was just trying to figure the best chance.

Last week we wanted to go to Miami for a game and I called Loew's to book Loew's South Beach. The lady I talked to asked if I was a member of a travel club whose name started with the first letter in the alphabet. I laughed and said, "You mean AAA?" She said they weren't allowed to say or ask for it. She pryed my Loew's 1st number out of me and found that I was Platinum and chewed me out for not saying that I was Platinum right away. She ended up offering us an ocean view St. Moritiz Suite for about 1/2 the cost of a regular room. I think you'll have the best luck calling and talking to the Loew's reps.
