Loews First Welcome Gift

Has anyone ever chosen to get the "suprise" regional gift @ RPR? I'll be staying there next week and I was just curious if anyone knew what it was. Thanks!

Haven't heard of it.
Most people talk about the cookies and milk. If you are using a discount code of any kind, they may say you don't get the welcome gift. This really irks many, because they hear about a free gift, and get POd when it doesn't arrive.
That's why I tell everyone to visit the Publix grocery store, stock a cooler, and bring your own cookies, milk, and booze into the room. Don't let the welcome gift ruin your trip.

I've always booked with a discount; fan club, Entertainment card and recently AAA, and I've always got the free gift. I've stayed onsite 4 times so far.

I used to get milk and cookies but switched to the $10 mini bar credit a couple of trips ago. This past Nov trip, they gave me the $10 credit and I never took anything out of the mini bar so I basically had a $10 credit on my bill! It was GREAT!!

The Regoinal Surprise at RPR is a woven wooden box full of inedible Polynesian candy and a nice shell with RPR's logo carved into it. Nice for a souvenier but nasty for a snack.
