Loews card account removed/Lost

I have had a loews card since the hard rock opened and when asked why I have not been upgraded and was making a rservation they told me my number was invalid.They have gave me a new number but no credit from old account.They told me I need to send them receipts of my other stays.I was ripped off and cant do anything about it since I dont save hotel receipts over time.
H anyone else had this happen to them?

I am assuming you still have the old card. What level is that one? Seems as long as you physically have the card, you could scan it and e-mail it to Loews First for verification that the number is valid and at what level it was. We have had a membership since 2001. Have not used it since then (but number of stays got us GOLD), but even though the number was showing invalid on the website (never registered for password, etc), calling Loews took care of the problem. Just a suggestion.
