Hi,

I am researching hotels on the way home, specifically in North Carolina off of I-95. Can anyone recommend a nice hotel in a safe area for a family?

I am also looking at Florence or Santee, South Carolina...both of those towns have a Country Inn and Suites but I think I would like to make it a bit farther to North Carolina...

Thanks for your help!

Hi last year we stayed at a Days Inn in Rocky Mount, NC it was fine for a one night stop over, got continental breakfast next morning to get us started. Left lots in our van overnight and nothing was taken. Cheap too around $25.00

We stayed in Dillon (it's in SC but right on the NC border). It was a safe area with several hoels right off I-95. We stayed in a Ramada Limited which was clean and included breakfast. Not an outstanding hotel by any strach of the imagination but good enough for an overnight. I thought it was a bit pricy at $50 per night but we checked in very late with no advance ressie so I guess it wasn't too bad. The rooms were huge, BTW.
