Can anyone provide the locker location(s) inside and outside of each park, or know of a website with this info. We'd like to be able to get in and make a beeline to drop off our extra things (ponchos, umbrellas. etc.) and get right to the "fun stuff" on our August trip without any extra "wandering about".

Here at Disneyland there's a large bank of lockers outside the park to the West of the Main Entrance, another large section on the East side of Main Street and 3rd area by the entrance to the Fantasyland Theater. At California Adventure there's a location outside of the park to the East of the Main Entrance gates, more just inside the gates to the West and a 3rd location at Grizzly River Rapids.

Are there similar multiple locations at all 4 WDW parks?

Thanks

ohhhhhhhhhhh...good question!

Lockers in the MK are just inside the park entrance, go through the turnstyle and go straight towards the small tunnel like structure (it's actually under the Main Street Railroad), they are right in there, before you enter Main Street. Lockers in Epcot are immediately to the right of Spaceship Earth (after you enter the park). In MGM, lockers are found at Oscar's(?)(i'm not sure if that is still the name) Service Station, just to the right after you enter the park. AK has 2 locations for lockers just inside the main entrance area, near Garden Gate Gifts and Guest Relations. ::MinnieMo :sunny: ::MickeyMo

That's great - thanks!

I guess this means the "multiple location per park" philosophy that's used at the Disneyland Resort isn.t the norm at WDW.

Useful info - but kind of unfortunate. As big as Epcot / World Showcase is - it seems it would be great to have lockers on the World Showcase side of the park too (especially since some guests may arrive through the International Gateway).

One good idea at California Adventure (and as much as I wish it weren't so, one of the FEW good ideas) is to have 'short term' lockers just outside of Grizzly River Rapids so your things like cameras, cell phones, etc. won't get wet.

Do they have similar short term lockers at Kali River Rapids? I read through the "Unofficial Guide to WDW 2005" but I don't recall mention of nearby "short term" lockers.

Thanks

I forgot about the lockers at the International Gateway, but there are some there, although I've never used them. I believe there are also some at the TTC. I don't recall any short term lockers at WDW, although I know they have them at Universal. For the Kali River Rapids, they have a "dry well" in the actual ride, it's in the middle of where everyone sits and you just put your stuff in there and then plastic goes over it, it's always worked ok for us, we have put cameras and valuables in there and they remain dry. :umbrella:

That's interesting. How does that work, exactly? One places one's things in the middle of the of the raft and the CM puts a big "shower cap" over all of one's "dry goods"?

Intriguing thought.

(As images of 'Jiffy Pop' popcorn on a stove top race through my head . . . .)

Yes, pretty much that's how it is, not exactly a shower cap, but you've got the idea. Jiffy Pop - lol :rotfl2:
