I was wondering if anybody knows how much lockers costs? I know that they have the free lockers near some attractions for a short time period but I was thinking about getting the ones for all day. I would hate to carry around my drinks all day. Is there couple locations for all day lockers. If so, whats the best location? I've heard that they have a set in the front of the park but is there a set in the middle of the 2 parks?

I don't know any details but these are the temporary lockers by the dueling dragons

from the website.

Lockers are available within each of the theme parks for guest rental for $8.00 per day, with family size lockers available at Universal Studios Florida for $10.00 per day. Guests have unlimited access to these lockers during the course of the day. Additional lockers are available at Islands of Adventure for $2.00 per hour, with a $14.00 per day maximum.
These lockers are available at the entrance of the following attractions:

- Incredible Hulk Coaster®
- Dueling Dragons®
- Jurassic Park River Adventure®
- Revenge of the Mummy®
- Men in Black®

NOTE: The lockers at the Incredible Hulk Coaster and Dueling Dragons are free for at least the first 45 minutes (time may vary - check with the individual attractions for specific length of time).

Do you have to use lockers for certain rides?....

I remember last year thinking we did when a member of staff at the entrance to Jurassic Park told us to use the lockers for our bags but in actual fact we could take them on the ride, lockers were just there incase you didn't want to get bags wet. So, which rides do you definately need to use a locker???...

You must use lockers for backpacks on Hulk, Dueling Dragons, Men in Black, and the Mummy.

if you rent the $10 day locker can you go back and get a drink from it and still be able to use the locker without putting another $10 in (how does it all work)

You should be able to punch in either "end rental" or "open"...something like that so you don't have to start over. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

We rent a family size locker at IOA to put sandals and things for the wet rides. We go back and get what we need and lock up what we don't want to get wet. For the lockers that you pay for the day rental on you have to put in a 4 digit code and that is what you would use to open the locker throughout the day.

The "free" lockers seemed to be free for a time corresponding to the wait for the ride. I saw the ones at MIB go from a 20 minute free period to a 35 minute free period. I went over by 2 minutes and had to pay $3! It was my fault because we went through the MIB single rider line one too many times. Should have gone and ended the rental and started another one, but I thought we had enought time.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll just pay for the $10/$12 lockers each day, that way we can put our drinks and bags in there. I think it would be easier to do that way instead of carrying our drinks around the parks. Whenever we get thirsty we'll just go back to the locker. I would hate to put my camera and my cell phone in the locker, I would be afraid the heat would ruin the battery. You did say we can go to these lockers and not have to keep paying? Right? Thanks again.

The lockers that you rent let you open them as often as you want. The free lockers, do not let you. If you open the free locker then the rental ends.
