I remember using a locker to store bottles of water at Epcot a few years ago, but other than that, I cannot remember the locker situation. Are the lockers at each park the same size? If I have a large (eg, gym bag sized bag) item, are the lockers large enough at all parks? Do I need to ask for a particular sized locker, or are they all the same size? And is theft a problem? If I put a camera in the locker, is it likely to be there at the end of the day? :umbrella:

i think the size is the same in all parks( at least ours were). i would guess maybe 2 1/2 ft by 12-18" ( my tripod fit so i am going by that) we didn't have a problem with theft and i think there was someone on duty nearby so while i guess someone could break in they would have to be pretty good at it

Also interested in this. How much are they per day?

Thanks, Jan1033 - that relieves a bit of my stress tonight, knowing my backpack should fit in a locker. Why, oh, why did I think that going to Disney the day after Halloween would be a good idea?

From allears.net:
Locker rental at all four theme parks is $5 a day plus a refundable $2 deposit (price subject to change). If you park hop during that day, don't collect your deposit, but hold onto your receipt and show it at the locker rental at the next park. You only need to pay once a day for a locker. At the end of the day, collect your deposit before leaving the parks.

At least one of the parks (can't remember which one) have larger size lockers, but they give those away first thing in the morning. You can sure ask for one (you never know!). I think it might have been Animal Kingdom. The larger lockers don't cost any more than the smaller ones!

I think you are right, Zozo, we went to AK on 11/1 and they had two sizes of lockers -and the smaller of them would not have fit our stuff. Fortunately for us, it was raining so hard, everyone else left. The large fit my small backpack, a fanny pack, some umbrellas and a little bit more. It just wasn't that large. If someone had a larger backpack, it wouldn't have fit.

Oh, and at least at AK (the only place I needed a locker) there was a CM in front of the locker room, which was not exposed to the general public. So one would have to rent a locker to get back there. And I'm assuming there is some effort at security, and they look difficult to jimmy open. Not impossible, I'm sure. I'd love to hear if there is a system of security checks.
