Hey there!

We will soon book our third trip to Disneyland just in time for Halloween Time! So we are slowly but surely planning a few things we don't want to miss...

I've heard that they are some free lockers to put your stock before riding Grizzly River Run over at California Adventure. During my past trips, I was never able to find such lockers...

Anyone know where they are located at?

Thanks in advance!

The GRR lockers are behind and the left of the FP machines. Free for 2 hours.

Yup, left of where you enter for the ride.

The lockers themselves are on the back side of a building, facing away from the main walkway, so that is probably why you didn't see them before.

If I recall correctly they are behind the big rafting bear...where one would go for a close up of the rafts once they come down from the big drop. Is that right HydroGuy?

That is one of the places for a close-up, yes.

Are the lockers safe? I mean, I understand that's the general idea, but has anyone from the DISboards ever had any trouble with theft? I go the zip lock bag route for our cameras and phones, but the lockers do sound nice!

The lockers are the same lockers used anywhere in DLR - just free for 2 hours. So they are as safe as any DLR locker. I have never heard of anyone having anything stolen from any DLR locker. So I would call that safe.

Great, thanks, good to hear.

They should have them there. I was drenched about 30 minutes before our dream Club 33 reservation:eek:

Poor thing!! Once when riding, the rest of us were totally dry. Then we looked at DS4, and he was wet from head to toe! Luck of the splash, hah?!

Oh you poor thing. We avoided even the *area* of Splash before ours. Then again, hubby's a big guy, so if you're in the log with him, you ARE getting drenched...

Difference between Splash and Grizzly is that there are nearly constant opportunities to get hit with a wave or drenched by a backsplash on Grizzly. With Splash, it's really only the very end that can get you THAT wet.

We used these last week with no problem. We took flip-flops in my bag to wear on the ride and also avoided getting our shoes soaking wet!
