Where would I find the lockers at MK... are there more than one place for lockers, and are they close to the train. I would imagine that the train is the same idea as in Disneyland where there area a few stops around the park and it runs a ring around the park.

Thaks for your help

Leave for Florida in 10 days!!!!!!:cheer2:

There is only one locker location at the Magic Kingdom. It's all the way to the right after you pass through the turnstiles, but before you go through the tunnel under the railroad station. It's very close to the station entrance. Unlike Disneyland, Walt Disney World still uses keys for its lockers. You can pick one up at the little shop next to the locker area.

The trains operates the same as it does at Disneyland, but there are only three stops instead of four: Main Street, Frontierland and Mickey's Toontown Fair. :)

We use lockers every time at MK and love them.... dont forget to turn your key in and get your $1 back..... if you dont my kids will be the ones running thru the locker area gathering as many keys as they can to get the $$$$ I know some of you may think badly of this but hey no one else is claiming it and its part of the fun for them...:goodvibes

Yup, that's the WDW Railroad train, to a T.

Yup, again!

You can see their location (#8) on this MAP> http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c265/RoboWDW/Silly Stuff/MK-Gates-RopeDrop-043008.jpg

The deposit is now FIVE DOLLARS per key.

Not too many just left in the locks anymore.

We were told to present our receipt with the locker key, in order to get the deposit back. This wasn't consistently enforced, but we were asked to show the receipt several times.

What do you all put in your lockers?

Extra layers of clothing for days with chilly mornings and evenings but warm afternoons.
Also a safe place for good cameras if you are going to go on a very WET ride (like Kali in DAK.)

Got it! I think because of the times we've gone and the fact that we go back midday (and have a stroller to stash the extra clothes if we need them) we haven't felt the need for one. It just seems like a long way to walk back to get something.

And, some guests pack picnic lunch which will stay a bitt cooler out of the sun inside the locker.

True! I could see it too if you wanted to video a parade or something, but didn't want to carry the video camera all day.

The lockers our a must for my Family,we pack extra clothing, frist aid kit shoes what ever we might use during that day.Sometimes we leave it at the park we started,or take it to another park does not cost anything after you rent the frist one.

We do the same -- first stop in every park is the lockers. Since we visit in Feb. there is a huge difference in temperature throughout the day, so we have warmer clothing for mornings and evenings, shorts and t-shirts for afternoons. We also each have an extra pair of shoes (to give our feet a break) and any first aid items. We also keep extra bottles of water, and sometimes an umbrella in our locker. If my DD thinks she "might want to" wear her princess dress in the parks, that's where it goes.

We travel light in the parks -- 1 small backpack for the 3 of us -- that's all. :cool1:
