Do the lockers at the water parks have little keys? If so, how do you store them, do they have a little necklace or something that holds them? Thanks for your help- we want to go to the water parks straight from the theme parks but I want somewhere to put my camera and other belongings.

It is like a wrist band, there are big and small lockers, we have always got the small lockers which are $10 and you get $5 back when you turn the key back in when you leave. A small locker is fine for 3 people with clothes but if you intend to have more people or big items you might need the bigger locker, not sure of the price for the bigger locker but they are worth the price, you can also buy little plastic boxes that have a lanyard for cash and credit cards for about $7 to carry things and will prevent your money becoming soggy.

The key is on a little bracelet. I carried it around on my wrist the whole time. I seen some people with it around their ankle. You can store all your stuff in a locker, big or little, depending on how much you have.

Watch out for the wristbands though. We lost ours on one of the waterslides, the CM had to shut it down for a few minutes so we could search in the pool :roftl: we did find it again though.

We found that even in the quiet season the lockers filled up pretty quickly so get there ASAP!

I have a very small wrist and mine fell off in the lazy river a few years ago. Someone behind me saw it fall off and got it back to me. Thank God they were honest because we had a lot of stuff in that locker that would have ruined the trip if we didn't have it.

Now I take a baby diaper pin (don't know if they even make these anymore, my youngest is 19) and pin it inside my suit. These pins are made to be rust-proof and are made to not open easily (think about what they pin)

I did buy some in the past few years at Toys R Us in the baby department, but don't know if they still have them.

Thanks everyone for the info! It's nice to know what to expect before we get there- particularly if we are going to have our cameras, wallets, etc. with us. I'll keep it in mind about the size of the bracelet- although I wish I had nice dainty wrists- I probably won't have too much of a problem keeping it on- worse comes to worse it goes on DH!

I can't remember if it was a Disney water park or Water Country USA in Williamsburg, VA. At one of the places, I had it on my ankle. An employee stopped me from going on one of the slides and told me it had to be on my wrist.

They will stop you on the body slides if it is around your ankle.
