Lockers at POP pools?

I've been wondering, are there lockers around the pools at POP? if so, is there a fee for using them? I'll be taking my next trip solo and I've been worried about what I'll do with my wallet, room key, etc when I'm swimming. It'd be nice if I could swim and not worried about someone walking off with my stuff.

I don't think so. We've stayed there 2 or 3 times and I've never noticted any lockers.

No lockers.
Leave your wallet in your room.
Get a wrist-wallet, or one of those small flat plastic cases like this http://www.rei.com/product/610608. Put your room key (and a credit card or some cash, etc) in there and, well, I'm not exactly sure how that one attaches to you, but you get the idea.

I only took a towel and my room key to the pool. Hid the key under the towel.

The wide refillable mugs are good for storing room keys. The middle section hold the room key without a problem.

Also, Reefs now make flip-flops with a key safe in the sole. Might be worth the investment for your sanity.

I am a gal and I put it in the top.;) I didn't notice anyone staring at me.:rotfl:

it' drive me nuts. I know it would. If one little hair drives me nuts, then a key stuck there surely would.

Didn't know you were a gal.... :flower3:

You may be able to leave it at the concierge desk. I had to run to our room to get some documents because there was a mix up with our tickets, my son ran and got the whole envelope of stuff, which had much more than I needed. We didn't want to run them back to the room, as we wanted to get to the parks, so they kept it in a "mailbox" and put a note on our account on the computer. When we came back hours later, had no problem picking the envelope up.

There are lockers in the restrooms at the pools. They are right beside the showers. I'm not sure how much they cost but it looks like they are quarter slots and you get your key after you lock it.

I use a water-tight plastic case similar to the one suggested above. The one I have has a neckstrap instead. I bought it either at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon (don't remember which) and I think they may sell them at some of the resort gift shops. It's large enough to hold a couple of credit cards/room keys and some cash.

Its good to know there are lockers. I'm not so sure I'd feel comfortable hiding my room key under my towel :scared: ... but I like the idea of those little cases. I could also just stick it in my suit. That might work too. haha

How comfortable is the case around your neck when you're swimming? I think it could be annoying, but what do you think? I also like the one that was linked to, which looks like it could be clipped onto a swimsuit.

wearing it around my neck is not uncomfortable at all. In fact, I wear it not only at the pool and water parks but even at the main parks. It's never fallen off (whether on the water slides or on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster). I'd be more worried about the one that clips on. I think that would be more likely to get snagged on something and pulled off without you even feeling it.

Ah, so THAT'S how it works! Thanks, LittleFlounder!

I use these too, only I bought one from Everything Pop and it says Pop Century on it. Sometimes I wore it around my neck, once I tried it around my waist, because it was bugging me around my neck.
