Do you go to the lockers at the Mummy ride first, then get in line? Sounds like a dumb questiion. How much stuff can you fit in a locker? Has it ever been so busy that you can't get a locker?

BarbaraMB,
Yes, you must put your belongings in the locker before you enter the line. I can't tell you how many people they turn away because of fanny packs & the like. They're fairly simple to use once you get the hang of it. The forefinger seems to work better than the thumb for scanning. And remember that you must use the same kiosk to retrieve your belongings as you did to store them. The longest line I was ever in had maybe 3 or 4 people ahead of me. It would move quick if everyone had a concept of how it worked but that usually wasn't the case. I never got up to the kiosk & had the computer deny me due to a lack of lockers so that doesn't seem to be a problem. As far as space.....hmm, I'd call them medium. I'd need to know what you might need to store in them to tell you how much stuff you could fit!:p Not big enough for a body, and don't even think of trying to hide your soul in there....no one is safe from the curse of the Mummy! :scared1:

Good information! Thanks. I was going to put a backpack in the locker. Just wondering if some family members wanted to share a locker that there would be enough room. Is The Mummy the only ride that requires putting your stuff in a locker?

We were there a couple of weeks ago and they made us take our fanny packs off to ride MIB. The first day, they didn't say a word, but the next day when we went back, we had to take our fanny packs off and put them in a locker. Also, we went over to IOA afterwards and I was not able to get a locker outside of DD's. Do they only allow you one time per day?

MIB is now trying to enforce the no bag rule but it is kind of inconsistent right now.

BTW, Mummy is now allowing small fanny packs. This is on a trial basis right now and may be changed but, as of right now, fanny packs are allowed.

That sounds like a good idea. As long as something is attached and won't fly off, it should be okay. I never did understand why they minded a small fanny pack.
