Locker Question

Hey guys, this is my first post, as you can see, and I have just a quick question. We're planning our trip for the end of May, and my question pertains to lockers. Are there *free* lockers located outside the big thrill ride attractions? I ask because we are also going to IOA, and I know they have them there. I want to carry a small backpack to help the DGF carry cameras and stuff like that (she's not a fan of the fanny pouch! Haha). So yea, are there lockers near those rides, and are they of comparable size and *free* time length? Thanks again, guys!

Nope. No lockers near attractions.
Just the ones you can rent near the park entrances.

On some rides (like Soarin') if you can't fit your backpack on the ride with you, you can leave it "off to the side" of the loading area and pick it up as you exit.

I have taken a backpack every year and on each and every ride. There has never been a problem with fitting it on the ride with me. Sometimes you need some strategic placement of the backpack, but never a problem.

Thanks for the quick help. I don't know if taking a backpack on the ride will work, as it may have a camera or two inside. I don't know if the pack is waterproof or not, so I may not be able to bring it on some of the rides. I was worried I may have to leave the pack with a non-rider, and as I'm going with a large group, the one or two non-riders may get bogged down with stuff. I don't know what I'll end up doing, but thanks for the help guys!

I've always carried our camera in our backpack and haven't had any problems. You'll be surprised how easy it is to carry on with you. Good Luck!

we always take a camera bag with us no problem , usually we put the strap over th shoulder and it sits between us and the seat wall. for water rides you can always put unwettables in a ziploc baggies...now that they have those giant ones you could put everything in the bag in one then put that in the bag. voila, instant water proof

If we have a backpack we just put a small trash bag in it .It works great for rides like Kali .Other then that we always have a few different size Ziplocs on hand.
