Locations request for standard room at animal kingdom

Have just booked for animal kingdom and wondered if anyone knew some nice rooms to request would like a bunk bed to

my personal advice would be don't put in any request nor do online check in. We read numerous stories of people who hadn't getting unexpectedly upgraded (it was our sixth trip - we had never had an upgrade, never expected to get more than we paid for but in fact once got less than we paid for at GF having booked a castle view and not getting it but that's another story.)

Anyway we decided to take the disboard tip and not make any requests and were lucky enough to be upgraded to a Savannah view - amazing! :

They are unfortunately - and they are very expensive during school holidays! It's a shame because they're really nice looking family rooms.

OP, I would have a look at the hotel map. You can pick your preferred area (close to lobby, or restaurants, or buses etc!) and if you have the unofficial guide I believe that makes "best room" recommendations.

We didn't request a room but got a very nice location (pool view though so I guess it was limited as to what we would get!)
