Location of parking garage at Aulani

Hi,

I researched and saw a post stating that the Waianae (sp?) building is more convenient to the parking garage.

On the map, it looks like there are two parking areas, so can someone confirm the best location/building for convenience to guest parking, or does it matter if there actually two parking areas?

There's only one self park garage located next to the Waianae building. We stayed there once and my husband said he preferred the location bc of its proximity to the garage too!

Thanks. Can someone also confirm if the Waianae building is only for hotel inventory as opposed to DVC? We have ressies for a 1BR and a 2BR Ocean View and I's like to request Waianae. If that is not possible, anyone with any suggestions on rooms requests to be near parking?

We've stayed at the hotel room category and 1 bdrm pool view in the Waianae building. I'm not sure if that's what you're asking...

As far as I could tell, there's only one parking garage and it is used for everyone. We were in the Ewa building and used the car a few times and never thought getting to the car was a pain. You could always have someone go get it and bring it to the front to pick the others up.

Correct, there is only 1 parking garage and it is nearest to the Waianae tower. However, we've been twice, both times I chose the Ewa tower. Everyting is in very close proximity in my opinion, so being "close" to the parking garage is not really an issue. As far as wether the Waianae tower is DVC or not, I'm not sure, our son was booked DVC for most of our last stay, but added on a couple days that were NOT DVC and he was moved to that tower. So, it could be correct, but I do not know for sure. Anyway, In my opinion, there really is NO need for you to purposely be "close" the garage, as like I stated, it's all very close. Enjoy Aulani, I'm excited to go back next year!!
