Which FP kiosks are currently working (and which are least busy) and what time do they open? We are in the parks early for breakfast- 1 hour before scheduled opening- and would like to do our FP before eating.

Since you are going on more than one day and you know which park you will be attending on what day I suggest that you just book your FP+ choices in advance.

do you have a tablet or smart phone? the app does it all now and you don't need the kiosk anymore. Also is this for tomorrow? i'm a little confused you can schedule your fp+ in advance.

App doesn't always work on my phone--older phone.
.

The suggested workaround in this case is to log into the website via your phone's web browser.
(The same way that you access this forum.)

The site is generally much more reliable if the app is glitchy.

To answer your question the kiosks won't open until the park does so you will have to wait until after breakfast to make selections if you do not pre book FP as suggested. At Epcot I remember seeing them in the breezeways headed to FW east and West from the fountain area but Epcot will have poor options if you do not book in advance (i.e. Probably no availability for headliners like FEA, Soarin, Test track)
MK will have more same day options but some will also be unavail or extremely limited if not booked in advance. The kiosks are in multiple places there (breezeway connecting adventureland/frontierland near bathrooms, fantasyland near mickey's philharmagic, tomorrowland near stitch and monsters laugh floor, possibly near jungle cruise). I believe the locations are listed in the park maps as they have moved some over time. For instance there used to be 2 inside GS on Main Street but in our recent trip I noticed those were no longer avail. I have seen crowds vary at the diff MK locations but on our recent trip they seemed less busy prob because you can now make additional FP on the app.

I'm not too sure about that because there would be no need to limit the start-time of the kiosks.
The reason is that guests standing 6 feet away from those kiosks could be on-line with their phones booking and re-booking their little hearts out.

Any guest who owns valid Magic Your Way tickets (or AP's) can choose to book FP+:
A. up to 30 days in advance.
B. 30 hours in advance.
C. 3 hours in advance.
D. 30 minutes in advance.
E. 3 minutes in advance.

The point of my arbitrary and somewhat frivolous list above is to ask...
Which of those booking times would offer the better chance of finding more of the popular attractions and times?

So, booking in advance, and the earlier the better, can net guests greater options.

(Yes, I know that WDW Resort guests can book up to 60 days in advance, but that doesn't start with a "3." ) ;)

I could be wrong but I thought when we were at BOG for an early breakfast last fall the ones in fantasyland were covered up that early (like they do at night when there are none left). I could be wrong but those would be the only ones accessible at MK if they are open before park hours since you can't go into tomorrowland/frontierland/adventureland prior to park opening.

You're forgetting about the FP kiosk screens in City Hall/Guest Relations.

In my previous post I had mentioned that on our recent trip those were closed-I'm not sure if it is permanent but they were not an option the day I was in city hall (this was the first week in May)
