Where is the location of the handicap accessible cabins? How many do they have? Anyone have a link to a map of cabin loactions?

Thank you for the info.

Do the cabins look any different from the outside? Are they usually located at the beginning of the loop , or are they scattered around?

And...woo hoo 100th post!!

As I best recall, the only thing that looked different from the outside for the accessible cabins was that there is a ramp, rather than stairs, to get up to the deck. Otherwise, they looked exactly the same.

I also wanted to add there is at least one accessible cabin that has the ramp, but has a regular tub, not a roll-in shower. That is the one we usually request.

I just got back and walked all the cabin loops, the only loops that had accessible cabins are 2500 and 2800. These cabins all have ramps but only some of them have roll in showers. They do have shower transfer chairs that mousekeeping will bring you if you can use the cabins with the tubs. Some of the cabins are near the front of the loops but some are in the very back of the loops. Make sure you let them know what you need and have it noted on your reservation, also fax or call the FW desk about 10 days before your arrival. I only counted 20 accessible cabins.
