Winds are expected to pick up today, lasting through tomorrow. With possible gusts up to 60 miles per hr. This being in Northern Ca.

No rain in the near future forecast,unfortunately, for we need more rain, plus it makes the ducks happy. Not the pot holes though, very bad for them, the rain is. They (Potholes)especially make one's cars tires and alignment very unhappy.

currently strong winds are a blowin' in Sonoma County from the NNE at 25-35 miles per hour. Temperature is in the low 60's, expecting to dip into the low 40's later tonight. The humidity is at 19 percent. And the dew point is at 19 degrees. With current visibility at 10 Miles. The barometer reading is coming in at 31 inch's and is falling.

So hold on to your wigs, hats, and small children if you are venturing outside tonight. Keep warm.... if you can.

Warm morning at 30 but fell to 25 miday and 20 in the evening. Early on the clouds left and the sky was sunny and still.

WOWSERS, the OC and LA County had some strong SANTA ANA's on Wed and Thurs. Thankfully, its calmed down now. Allot of damage all over LA County. Our palm trees here at my complex were literally bent in half Thurs in the wee hours of the morning. I got up and peeked out. Tons of power outtages and limbs down and school closings.

Today (like every day) is bright sun.

9:00 am in the OC and its 60 degrees but temps will be going UP!

I was in Santa Monica Wednesday evening and it was crazy how windy it was.

Was 0 in the morning got up to 15, then started to snow as evening approached.

The heavy winds from yesterday, died down today,but .... returned this evening in Sonoma County. They are just blowing at times fierce enough to where you might want to check on your cat or dog if they are outside, because otherwise they might be taken on real trip from the wind. The last time that sort of thing happened, it was in Weed Ca. last year, when a lady found her 25 pound cat in Bodega Bay, not the ocean, the town. The poor kitty was a bit traumatized, but after a sedative and a can of tuna, she was fine, both the owner and her cat....

But on the positive side- the weather was amazing! It was almost 80 yesterday! My classroom AC even turned on! In December! And it stayed warm into the evening while we were out shopping. Today says it will only be 62. But the sun is out and I like that!
