We did finally get over 50 degrees today our high was 52 and low was 30...but compare that to April 20, 2010...high of 72 and low of 45

That is quite a difference for certain. Well hopefully everyone including the horses will be fine in the cold weather. Thank goodness for winter blankets and barns. For the horses of course. And for us, warm coats and blankets.

It is a beautiful day in Fairfield!! The sun is shining and the rain washed away all the dirt and grime. It actually feels like spring out there.

I am but very, very late with mine. For I knew if I went on line this morning, my lap top would probably have a melt down.

Anyway..... Today in Sonoma County the weather was in the mid to high 60's. With a nice cool breeze later in the day. Right now, it is dark outside. Because it is night time. That usually happens here at this time OK now time to be serious again.... Rain is expected this Saturday. And over night tonight, still dark. Seriously though, cooling off to the 40's range, with possible fog this early a.m.

I am just very thankful we had no rain yesterday (Thurs) because we had our Easter party at school. Egg hunt, farm animals to pet, and playing on the playground. I can't imagine having to do all of that inside. It would have been nuts. It got chilly last night though. Had to turn the heater on this morning.

Today is Earth Day.... Star Bucks is serving complimentary coffee or tea to patrons if they bring in their own travel mug. I have my POTC Dead Mans Chest mug ready to go. Then off to the Disney Store with my 5 plastic bags, so hopefully there will be at least one Mickey green bag left for me, in exchange. I have to do laundry first, before going anywhere. Unless I am going to be visiting a nudist colony of course... No way.... Jose.....

I work at a Starbucks! If someone came in with a POTC mug I would get all super happy! A few days ago a lady brought in a cup with Mickey & Pluto on it it made my day! (it doesn't take much for a Disney fan I guess )

Sometimes, it is the little things that can really put a smile on one's face. So I understand.
I am hoping I may have hot chocolate instead. I don't really drink coffee or tea. I will drink tea on very rare occasion though. But not coffee. I very much like the aroma of coffee though.

It cooled over night. The wet snow yesterday froze to the roads and real cold snow started to fall. But the sun just poked through. I think all of it will melt soon.

Wow that temp would cover a good portion of summer for us! We do get up past 100 for about 3-4 days each year but mostly 70's & 80's.

Wish I could send you some rain~! Currenly 43 degrees and on & off rain/snow slushy showers... However the current forcast is saying partly sunny and 62 degrees for Sunday which would practically mean shorts weather up here so keep your fingers crossed!

haha, and here I am wishing it was even warmer!
The thing is where i live, we barely get a Spring or Fall season. It can be rainy and in the 60s one day and within the next week we are in upper 80s and summer weather!
But this year I am actually pretty surprised that we've been in the low 70s for quite some time already. & it hasn't rained nearly as much as last Spring.
