Just back to report a big Thank-You! I continued my search after the post yesterday and found that our local hhgregg's carried eneloop batteries!! I ran over and grabbed up a battery charger pack that included 4 AA batteries and an extra pack of 4 AA batteries...
I was planning to charge when I got home (just because) I read many reviews speaking on the "precharge" disposition being dependant on the temperature the batteries were kept... figuring the weather would have influence I wanted to make sure they were charged... Long story short, DH put them in camera right out of pack and they are working great- still no charge yet needed... I am wondering if I should anyway, - again I got a second set to make sure I have a back up set raedy...
should I go ahead and charge the ones in my camera? No indication of them needing it at all- But they are not so close to charge being depleted that a charge would be necessary, I don't think-
Biggest news, I got them locally, no need to order,
They were a good price compared to what I thought I'd be spending... $7.99 for 4 pack and $15.99 for charger & batteries pack...
No need to get Energizers at this point...
