We are going to be heading over to DL on Thursday morning and will hit the Riverside area about 7-8 am. Should we go I -10 to 60W to 57 OR I-10 to 60W to 91 to 57? We've had bad luck both ways... so we're not sure what to expect. Any advice?

At that time of the morning it will be bad either route--sorry.

The others are correct, at that time of the morning, both will be bad. That being said, the 91 fwy has toll lanes instead of carpool lanes for a lot of the way so if you don't have a toll pass, I would take the 60 fwy to the 57, as both the 60 and the 57 have carpool lanes the whole way. This is the way we go and we have tried both routes and this has always been quicker. Have fun!

What momo said. It is just rush hour so it is going to be trafficy. Leave earlier and use the car pool lanes.

I have to say that doing the 10 to the 60 W (which turns into 215N) to the 91W to 57S, is the best way to go, and I won't go any other way after having tried several other combos. You think you are saving time by doing less FWY swaps, but that's not always the case. If you can travel either earlier and hit it about 6am or a little later say 10 am you will find things go much faster. But, if your times are firm, I would expect to add at least an hour to whatever time you expect to get to DL.
