We are looking for a fast food with a drive thru in order to grab a quick biscuit on our mad dash into the parks in the mornings. I remember seeing a mcdonalds, but I am not sure where it is at. We are staying at the pop and want to be able to go somewhere not to far from there and not have to get on the interstate. Any suggestions? Any drive thru with breakfast would do.

Only fast food is McDonalds. It is located at Entrance to All Star Resort.
There is also a McDonalds in DTD but you must park in lot and walk to it.:goodvibes

Thank you soooo much, I knew we had seen one before!:dance3: Never thought I'd be so happy as to know where the mickyD's was, lol.

Can you tell me how to get to there from POP?

When you leave the entrance of POP, turn right. At the stoplight, you can turn right to go to DTD or left to go to the McDonald's near All Stars. They are about equal distance. Once you are on that road, just go straight in either direction. You can't miss them. The one near All Stars will be on the left. The other is in the Marketplace on the right at DTD.

A much faster route is to take a left out the front of Pop Century, at the next intersection which is Osceola Parkway, take a right and then exit at the All Star Resorts/Blizzard Beach exit and you will be right there, with no traffic lights and a much more direct route.

Osceola Parkway is the road that leads you to Animal Kingdom, in fact before you exit off it, you will see Blizzard Beach to your right. It is not Interstate but is a very nice 4 lane divided road that will get you there quicker than Buena Vista Drive.

Here is a map: http://www.wdwinfo.com/resortmaps/propertymap.htm

Pop Century is #31 and the McDonalds is underneath the brown Blizzard Beach marker on the map. :)

We are staying in POP but don't have a car, if we took the bus to Blizzard Beach :yay: could we walk over to McD's ? or do you have to cross any busy roads :confused3 ?

You'd be much better off to the bus to DTD and go to that McDonald's. While you probably could walk the distance without any problem, there are no sidewalks between Blizzard Beach and McDonalds.

I thought I remembered sidewalk/ bike trail there. I just zoomed in on a sattellite view and it shows a sidewalk all the way from BB to McDonalds on the same side of the road as BB. Here is the link, of course you will need to continue zooming in on WDW until you find BB then switch to sattellite view.:thumbsup2 There is also another McDs at the intersection just beyound Doubletree Hotel past Downtown Disney.

I was trying to remember about that too and did think there was a sidewalk and I thought it was strange as that is the only one on Disney property. Then decided it was probably so people could go from the the Mini Golf to McD's.

We have stayed at POP the last two Septembers. We usually had breakfast at the food court. We got there just prior to opening, thus beating the crowds. They sell breakfast sandwiches. I'm sure you could get it to go and be on your way quickly.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

If you to go the McD's by the All Stars please don't ask if they have a value menu... the looks of death you wil get from the cashier's is amazing.

And they don't have breakfast happy meals either!

I know, I was just looking for a little more economicl breakfast. I don't like paying over $6 for a sausage biscuit meal!

Okay I am sorry - I might get some looks from some people.. but this is my first trip to Disney and I am staying at the pop....

NOw what is DTD? I am wondering about Mcdonalds as well.. thank you.

some of the abbreviations I could make out but some I can't...sorry.

DTD = Downtown Disney. :thumbsup2

Don't worry, lurk around these boards long enough and you'll be a pro at the abbreviations in no time! :rotfl:

Breakfast @ Pop Century is very inexpensive and good, most breakfast are large enough to split. Unless you are headed to DTD for the morning why would you want to spend over an hour both directions to save very little (if any) money.

I agree. Why would you want to drive to a McD's to get a biscut when they are right there at the resort on your way out to the parks? I think this would take much more time to go to McD's. Its just too easy at POP to grab and go and hop on the bus or car.

How do you figure that it is an hour to go to and from Mcdonalds? And I never said anything about saving money. Where did that come from?

The reason I am looking at this is because I want options, and have read that the food court has been very crowded.
