Local Disney store's and wages

I'm not sure anyone would be able to answer this. And I'm sure it depends on the location but does anyone know what local disney stores pay? Is it min. wage? Or more. I applied at our local one in the mall and have an interview tomorrow night. I work full time during the day. This would be part time nights and weekends for extra income. I know I saw a thread recently on the benefits. Just wondering.

About 5 years ago my DH wanted to work at our Disney Store over the holiday (when they were still Disney & offered great perks to their employees), & I think they offered him $5.50 per hour. He thanked them & left. Not sure what minimum wage was back then so couldn't tell ya but I worked for Mervyns for $6.50 per hour back then!

I think min. wage is 7.40 right now but i could be wrong. Would be really nice if they paid 8 or 9 but im sure that might be way off. Thank you!!!

I worked for them from 1998-2003 in Florida and I was hired at minimum wage, as were all the hires during those five years -- unless you were management. Well, there was one Christmas they offered new seasonal hires a higher salary but I just remember that being a one-time thing.

I was paid $6/hour (PA minimum is $5.15) during the 2005 holiday season and was able to use the 30%/10% shopping discount (30% off most, 10% off CD's and DVD's) during my time there.
