Anyone know if the local crowds still visit the water parks in mid to late september? We are considering hitting typhoon lagoon Sunday, September 21, but could also go Thursday, September 25. Unsure if it really makes a difference that late in the year.....

1) School is in session, so weekdays have low "local" attendance.
2) On the weekends, it does tend to get mobbed by locals.
. . . hot and humid weather
. . . great spot to cool off, let alone have fun
. . . locals can buy annual Water Park passes for $62/adult and $50/child
. . . and, they use them, A LOT

I would choose Thursday. If you were going November through February you could count on low crowds on the weekends because locals wouldn't be there. September is still plenty hot enough for locals though.

Weekday :thumbsup2 Weekends will be busier with tourists and locals, they can buy season passes just for waterparks.

Yes always try to pick a weekday for a water park, a F & W event, or a hard ticket party because us locals crawl out of the woodwork on the weekends
;)

How crowded on Labor Day? We will be there all week but were thinking of TL on Monday.

I'm also considering TL on Labor Day (Mon. Sept. 1), I'm a little worried it may be busy?

I don't see a problem with it Get there early I guess but I would advise that anyway Contrary to what people may think most people have to work Labor Day
