Local bands from my younger years (anyone else remember?)

I spent part of the first half of the eighties in Hollywood Rock'n Roll clubs with friends following around bands such as "Warrant" before they hit the big time. Ohhh, those were the days.

Do you remember Faster Pussycat and Dangerous Toys? There was another band from that era too, but I can't recall their name. Their concert tee had a deck of cards on it I think. They played some gigs with some of the bands I was working for during that time frame. I want to recall playing poker with one of the guys in the band and a couple crew guys.

Oh, and another band from that era--Bang Tango!

I've been to the Pony and Blondee's. And probably a good 400-500 other rock clubs across the USA and Canada (and even Mexico!)

One of my best New Year's Eve was at the Stone Pony. Stood in the front row against the stage for seven hours. My legs were like rubber the next day.

A few local bands from my younger years who played in and around my area were No Doubt, Offsrping and Sublime. My college years were fun!!

I dont remember those, but I remember Twisted Sister.

Me too, from the Mad Hatter!!! In Stony Brook!!!

I used to love the Good Rats and Twisted Sister, both used to play often at Hammerheads in West Islip NY.

How about Zebra?!!! I loved them!!!!

Foghat was my first concert. I think they played with Eddie Money. This was in south Florida in the late 70s..

Some of the members of Foghat graduated from my high school!!! This is such a cool trip down memory lane.

The Hooters was my first concert. I was 14 and it was at Wildwood Convention Hall. My mom's rule was no concerts till you're 14..I missed the Live Aid concert by a month My first real "big" concert was Kiss..Black and Blue and Guiferria opened for them!
I miss the 80's bands!!
