Lobster??

Thanks so much dclpluto. Do you know which night it will be served? We don't want to book Palo that night.
It's usually available on the Captain's Gala menu. Don't know for sure whether the Alaska cruises have that menu. It was on the Toy Story menu in 2012 & 2013, but, not on the most recent one posted for 2015.

Guess I was wrong it looks like they got rid of the lobster on the Alaska cruises. It use to be all Disney cruises 7 nights and longer had lobster.
Does anyone know why they got rid of the lobster on Alaska cruises? Or do they still have them?

Not sure unless it was a seasonal availability an it was out of season from their supplier maybe?

What about cruises in Europe? Would they till order them out of Florida? Can't imagine sailing the Northern Atlantic and serving rock lobster....

Well lobster was on the Captain's Gala menu in 2015. Don't know where they got it from, but it's there and oven-baked.

Usually DCL will use local suppliers for the ships. It's not often they'll ship something cross country or trans continental unless it's absolutely needed. Mickey bars for example are usually not found in Europe late in the season but same ship usually picks them up in CC on the way home.

We were on the Dream in February and the lobster mac and cheese that used to be on the menu at Royal (Court? Palace?) was no longer there. It was replaced with a pasta and red sauce (may have also had some seafood but was not lobster) that even our server warned us against. DS ordered it anyways and it was not good.

I ate one bite of that stuff on the Wonder last fall and pushed it aside. That stuff was nasty! I pretty much can eat anything but couldn't have a second bite.

omg we had that red sauce on the wonder last year and it was gross, I think the kids ordered it
