Lobster... mmmmmmm!

We're trying the dining plan this trip and before I make all my ADR's, I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place (on the dining plan) to get a yummy lobster dinner?

I was thinking the Coral Reef restaurant but I've heard some pretty bad reviews (and as usual some pretty good ones too haha).

i have heard only good things about Narcoosees lobster..you can get the whole maine lobster or surf and turf there! we will be going there in june just because of that!..its 2 TS credits, but i am thinking its worth it..YUM!

I don't think CR has a lobster entree. I think they have a lobster bisque. Cap N Jacks has a two lobster tail entree and it's only one TS credit.

I thought Cap'n Jacks was great! My DH and I both ordered the 2 lobster tails entree.

Narcoosees is the only place to get a whole lobster at Disney. You can get a 2 pound cantonese lobster at Blue Zoo. It's out of the shell but it's the whole thing and fantastic. Had it last Thursday.

narcoosees for the whole maine lobster - so good! (it's a 2 TS on the dining plan, though) - and the almond crusted cheesecake - yummmm

there's also the twin lobster tails at capn jacks (1 TS)

When we went for free dining in 2005 Le Cellier had a surf and turf that was wonderful, is that still offered? Narcoosee's lobster was awesome too!

I just made a reservation at Cap'n Jacks based on this picture!!! That looks sooooo good! Pair that with the chocolate lava cake and I will be in heaven!

Anyone know if they will let me sub potatoes for the rice on the DDP?

My DS got potatoes, I got the rice, on DDP. I've seen others photos with the potatoes as well. I've got it booked once, but DH told me to book it twice.

We had shrimp cocktail and the crabcakes as our appetizer - both yummy, and the choc lava cake for dessert !

DH and I have been to Narcoossee's 3 times. On two of the trips, he had beef. However, on one trip, he decided to have the lobster and he's still talking about it! It's a 2 lb lobster (a little over 1 lb of lobster meat) and they will either loosen it in the shell or remove it altogether. I don't think that DH ate anything but our appetizer and the lobster. He had very little room left for the cheesecake that we shared. So, based on his opinion of the lobster (I can't eat shellfish, so I have no personal opinion), I would say Narcoossee's is the place for lobster at WDW.

I don't know,...my vote is for Todd English's Blue Zoo. That Cantonese Fried Lobster is the bomb! Out of this world good. 2nd choice is Narcoosie's.
