One of the easiest ways to find free ebooks, is to check out http://booksontheknob.blogspot.com/. Also, usually whatever you come across of Amazon for free (which I think is easier to search for free books since you can sort by price) - just check Barnes & Noble and it will usually be free there too. Also, when you are looking at a free ebook on Amazon, look at the bottom of the page where it shows "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought"- usually they will all be free as well.
I agree with Cindy that there are so many good free ebooks out there that I am having a hard time getting though all of them. Don't bother looking in the B&N "free" ebook section- it is worthless for entire free ebooks, it is usually all samples. www.nookboards.com is another place to find out about free ebooks.
Have fun!
how long are books usually available for free? i see a couple of books on booksontheknob i'd like to d'l, but my nook hasn't arrived yet (just shipped yesterday).
