I'm trying to decide between a Kindle and a Nook for my Christmas list. My future SIL just got a Nook, and her mom and sister are both getting them for Christmas. So I'm leaning toward the Nook if we could all share our books to cut down on the cost of downloads.
So if you have a Nook and have loaned/borrowed e-Books, tell me if I understand this correctly:
If you buy a book, you can loan it to someone for 7 days. During that time, they can read it, but you can't. After the 7 days, they lose it from their list, and you regain access. Right so far?
What I don't know is whether you can then loan the same e-Book to ANOTHER person for 7 days. The wording in the guide is unclear whether you can loan it to one person at a time or only one person EVER.
I'd also like to hear any experiences borrowing ePub books from the library. Thanks!

) . Anyway, when the new Nook came I authorized it, and for a day or so the old one was still authorized and still in my possession. As soon as I authorized the new Nook it started downloading all my books. Soon I had two Nooks and both had all my books on them and I could read and open all the books I had bought on both Nooks. That's how I knew you could have more than one device on the same account.
