LOading tickets on to MDE with two trips planned

i just purchased eight day base tickets for my January 2018 trip. I have an October 2017 trip planned that will be a no park trip unless I successfully bridge my CAA tickets to a Gold AP.

If I load my tickets on to MDE will I be able to choose FP for that trip for the event that I do go into the parks? Or do I have to wait to load the tickets so that they remain "ear marked" for the January trip?

I don't want to accidentally activate these tickets for October when I need them for January.

If I can't select fast passes for October that will be fine. Not ideal but fine.

Link the tickets to the correct people and book FPs for October.

As soon as you determine you won't need the October FPs, you can cancel them. Then, when you are ready to book for January, you'll be able to book FPs without any problems.

What if I don't know until October that I won't need them? Sorry to be so thick but the whole ticket thing makes my head want to explode.

You can cancel at anytime. By Canceling, even in October, you open up the FPs to be booked by others.

Your ticket entitlements remain intact even if you continually book FPs that you'll never use.
