LO design help needed....PLEASE!!!!

I am going to be making a scrapbook for my friends family who we are visiting in a couple weeks....they have 4 boys and 2 girls...I got all of their fav colors, but want to keep their pages simple....

so my thought is:
a 2 page LO for each kid with their fav color, name title and photo mats and one journal box...all papers are stripes!

for the girls was thinking of adding flower accents and ribbon... but not sure what to do for the boys since I don't have a boy....do you think just using matching color brads for accents would be okay?
I don't want to make them specific so their mom could just use it as a general year in the life of each kid, can a boy mom help me out please

Are they young? What about bugs or trucks or trains or frogs or a variety of sports balls (basketballs, baseballs, footballs). I also like stars for boys...like bright colored ones. General pirate themes are good I think, too. Or, guitar / drums type thing...like rock star??

the oldest boy is 11, then 2 boys about 5 and youngest is around 3....I wanted to keep it very general, love the star's idea!!!

it is actually a "hostess" gift for them as we are staying with them when we visit them in a couple of weeks!
