LMTC Disneyland tickets no longer available?/Information on Refunds

I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that I was having trouble getting through on the phone to LMTC (or BedsOnline / HotelBeds USA, Inc. as they are now called, I guess). I was calling the 888-591-2799 (along with the other number posted on the previous page, can't remember what it was), but when I made my selection, it gave a recorded message that they are closed for the holiday and to call back another time. I had received this message every day this week.

Today, I opened up the website and sent a chat request, asking if they are actually open or closed. Betty answered right away, saying that they've been having phone issues, but she told me to call the same number and then she gave me her direct extension, which is 17809. This worked great, and I was able to get right through to purchase our 5-day park-hopper tickets at $325.77 each.

This is the fine print on the emailed voucher I received while still on the phone with Betty: (Our park dates start April 15, 2020, just FYI.)

"THIS VOUCHER IS NOT ACCEPTED AT THE PARK. A separate E-ticket will be emailed to you 30 days before service date. That E-ticket is required for entry to the park. GUESTS MUST PROCEED DIRECTLY TO THE TURNSTILE AND PRESENT THEIR PRINTED DISNEYLAND E-TICKETS TO THE TURNSTILE ATTENDANT FOR PARK ENTRY. ...…………. All Disneyland Resort multi-day tickets expire 13 days after first use, or January 13 of the following year of the service date listed on the main E-ticket, whichever occurs first. …...…. "

I had read earlier in this thread that the voucher would have to be exchanged at either a ticket booth or at check-in if staying at an onsite resort. I'm still planning on this as a possibility, but if I'm reading the above details correctly, this may be different now...? It sounds like I may receive E-tickets via email before my trip, which I can take straight to the turnstile, just like E-tickets purchased directly from Disney, etc. We'll see what happens as we get closer to April. Either way will be fine. We are checking in to the GCH super early on our first park day, so I can easily exchange the voucher at the desk if I don't get E-tickets emailed to me.

Anyway, I wanted to give my experience, just in case someone else was having trouble getting through on the phone. I've used LMTC in the past with great results, and I'm still very happy with the experience today. It was a great savings and Betty was very, very friendly and helpful. I would love it if they were able to include MP, but it only takes 30 seconds or so to buy it each morning just after entering the gates, so I'm fine with that.

So I wonder if you are going soon you get the voucher, but further into 2020 you get the e-ticket instead? Or have they all changed to e-tickets as of today? Hmmmm

Did these tickets have the one Magic Morning included?

Yes, I forgot to mention it, but Betty did confirm that they included the one MM.

That may be the difference...just timing of the different trips. I hadn't thought of that, but it's a possibility.

Great info, and I think you are on the right track. Another post above mentions Jan 13, 2020 as being an important date. Maybe it's vouchers until that date. And then they are converting back to E-tickets and will email remaining voucher holders E-tickets for straight to gate access. That would be awesome and especially at the same savings!

I am currently holding E-tickets purchased early 2019 from LMTC. But following with interest as I have almost always found they have the best deals on 4 and 5 day tickets.

It sure would be nice to see an official FAQ from LMTC. But, again, this all seems to be a temporary/fluid situation related to their acquisition, Web site update, etc etc. As with most things at DLR, eventually it becomes clear, hopefully!

Interesting! I bought 5 day hoppers on Nov 29th for our trip on Sept 13, 2020, and it’s a voucher. No mention of an e-ticket being mailed out

That's an interesting new development regarding the e-ticket. I purchased hours on November 21st for a September 2020 travel date and we received the voucher. It specifically says on it that we must redeem it for a ticket at the ticket booth or at the front desk of a hotel if we are staying on property.

Went ahead and called to purchase my 5 day PH tickets for Feb 2020 (used the main number from the phone icon on the website). I had the same experience as Memoriesinthemaking. I was emailed a voucher but the fine print says it is not accepted in the park and I’ll be sent an e-ticket 30 days before arrival (even though the rep on the phone said I had to print it out. Maybe the reps don’t know about this new process?) I guess I’ll have to wait and see what happens in mid-January, hopefully the e-tickets will be sent automatically. Trying not to be nervous about this new development, lol.

I just purchased the 5 day PH ticket yesterday for a January 6th through 10th (2020) visit. Got the same voucher - e-tickets will be sent 30 days before arrival.

Interesting—so I guess your e-tickets should arrive tomorrow? Please keep us posted!

I just purchase over the phone and same as above except for 1/7-1/11 travel (edited to changed travel dates to 1/7-1/11). Voucher with e tickets that will be sent 30 days prior. Betty said they are switching back to e tickets. She didn’t know why.

I just got off the phone with Bobbie at LMTC and purchased 3-day parkhopper tickets (with 1 magic morning) for $311/ticket for March 2020. While the "voucher" did say that a separate email will be sent 30 days prior to my trip with the e-ticket, she said that this was still a voucher I needed to print and bring with me. I even mentioned that the email said it wasn't a voucher, she still said I needed to print it out... so who knows?

Hi!
I just purchased 4-day park hoppers by calling LMT for $323.20 each. We will be using them next week starting Friday, and the lady I spoke with on the phone stated that they are Vouchers. I will need to take the printed email to the ticket booth to exchange for actual tickets. It actually uses the term, "will-call certificate." Then further down the language refers to it as a voucher. 🤷‍♀️ Fingers crossed it all works out ok! I'm so thankful to all of you for providing all the previous information on this thread. I have been following along since October and feel confident that it will go smoothly! Thank you!

Does anyone who has purchased from LMT lately know their price for a 3 day, 1park/day ticket?

Need to buy tickets soon but not sure I want to deal with the hassle of exchanging the voucher. May just pay a bit more at one of the others. Will keep watching for the next couple of weeks then pull the trigger. I dont like this change they have made.

Thank you ! That is exactly what I need for next month. Did you just call the phone number on their website ?

I just received our e tickets today for our visit in the first half of January. Maybe give them a call to see which ones they sell you.

@HuskyGal - So when you purchased over the phone they sent the voucher (that said they would send e-tickets later) and then they did email the actual e-tickets you can take to the turnstile? If so that makes me feel better.

Yes, I called them Friday and made the purchase over the phone $325/adult, $309/child for 5 day hoppers (and some change per ticket, sorry, can’t remember). I got impatient and emailed the agent today because I hadn’t received my e tickets yet. I received my email for the e tickets today. They look the same as the old e tickets that they used to sell.

Sorry, yes, they sent the email titled “ticket voucher” on the same day that I made the purchase, which was Friday. They sent the e tickets via email today, Tuesday.
