Hi! First time posting on the board. Having a hard time deciding between Little Mermaid room at AoA or taking advantage of the spring offer at Caribbean Beach in a standard room. Travelling with my 2 boys ages 5 &2 and the nlaws. We will be there 7 nights in April and have 4 days of parks with the other days as relaxing days. Any suggestions are much appreciated! Thanks!

Having stayed at both, I can say there are pros and cons to both choices. I'm a huge LM fan so I loved the AoA room and decor. The hotel was bright, vibrant, and I'm sure a fan favorite with young kids. That being said the rooms and beds are very small. CB might have more of an 'adult' theme compared to AoA but the property is beautiful and the rooms are larger.

I would suggest CBR. We always had great experiences at CBR. With 2 little boys they would love the little water play area made for their age at CBR's main pool. I think there is a gate so little ones can't run off very easily. There are photos & videos at www.allearsnet.com. Plus tons of videos on youtube. The different islands & landscape areas are fun to explore for kids & adults.

Thanks for the advice. I think we will go with CBR since it has more of a vacation laid back feel since we won't be at parks all week and I think the boys will have more fun with the kiddie slides at the pool.

My son was 8 when we stayed at CBR and he was disappointed he was to big to play in there. We payed extra to get the preferred room and we were glad we did, saves a lot of walking.

We didn't go with the pirate room because we heard that the beds were not as comfortable since its not a regular mattress as the standard beds and my father n law has back problems. I didn't want to risk it. Also, heard pirate room longest walk to food court/pool.
