LLSP grace period

I understand that the grace period for LLMP is typically (though not guaranteed) 2hrs after the window. Does the same hold true with LLSP?

Through a cast member at the LL entrance our last trip (which means it probably can vary a bit!), LLMP grace period is 5 minutes early before your scheduled time, and as much as 20 minutes after. I wouldn't count on getting in 2 hours later. I don't have experience with the SP.

A number of recent videos from long time bloggers which do state that it's been turning green up to two hours after. But things change so fast you never know. The 15 minutes after has been pretty consistent for years so you have at least that, and likely more but never a guarantee.

Thx for replies. I was just wondering if there are any first hand reports for extended grace periods for LLSP from those on the ground.

I'm not sure why you would be late for an LLSP since you can book the time when you schedule it . . . however . . . if the reason you think you might be late is that you have an ADR and you're wondering what will happen if your meal takes a long time, then that is no problem.

ADRs take precedence over LLSPs. Just keep your receipt from the restaurant and if the entry point at your LLSP doesn't turn green, show the receipt to the CM at the tapstile. You will be let in.

The reason (not really important for my question) is that we are schedulng GoG LLSP for first ride for a late afternoon hop to Epcot before hitting WS. In the past we often end up arriving later than planned to the 2nd park after a pool/rest break. That's all.

Still wondering if anyone has a recent report of it turning green for them 1+hr after window as it seems it does for LLMP 90+% of time.

I don’t recall the exact amount of time I was late in January for Guardians but it was significantly so and I had no issues checking in.

(yes, you can be late for a LLSP, things happen, etc)

Those video reports i have seen have been about LLMP not LLSP.

Either way....I have a feeling that Disney may have loosed the rules for these, being that people are spending quite a bit of money for LL access now, as opposed to the free FP era. That would be my guess anyway.

I've gone 6+ hours late dozens of times on every SP** ride and never had any problem. I consider them good for the day now.

**I have not tested this on Tron though, as reports on that have stated they are stricter there.

This was going to be my response also. Not that I am personally going to try it, but I feel like now that it’s a pay service you would be able to use it at any time after you were scheduled to. It may not turn green, but once you explain your reasoning, I’m sure they’ll let you on since it’s no longer free. Maybe not if it real late and extremely backed up, but even then I can’t see them saying no since you paid for it.

Curious if anyone has read any reports of them actually turning people away now that it’s a paid thing.

I've never been late for an SP, however, I cannot believe they'd turn you away. I mean, SPs don't cost pennies and I'd think they would be understanding to someone who'd forked over the bucks.

I was late on several multi pass rides last month. Pretty sure I was on time for my SP ones. I mentioned I was late the first couple times and the cast members would say just scan and let's see. They all turned green and the cast member would say it's green so go ahead. I was probably at least an hour late for one and less for a few others.
