LLPP purchase question

Apologies if I missed this in the FAQ.

We want to purchase LLPP 7 days in advance. We're most likely going to be staying at a Disney resort (Shades of Green). It looks like one person will be booking three rooms for our three families...and we will be in one of the rooms. We're not the ones making the resort reservation.

Does the same person booking the rooms need to be the person that buys LLPP for all of us? Or can we each buy LLPP for our families based on eligibility?

No but you all do need to be linked in MDE under Family & Friends, be part of the resort reservation, and everyone that you want to book LLPP for has a valid ticket at the 7 day advance purchase window.

As part of the LLMP purchase process in MDE, you select the member of your travel group to include in your LLPP purchase transaction(s).

Are you asking about Lightning Lane Premier Pass (LLPP) or Lightning Lane Multi Pass (LLMP)? LLPP is hundreds of dollars per person, per day. That would be a hefty amount going on one person's credit card. There really is no need for one person to purchase the LLPP for all 3 rooms as no actual attraction reservations are needed. Each family can purchase their own LLPP.

Another question came up since our trip is just around the corner:

I'm going to be purchasing LLPP for a family member:

1. The other family members purchased their own 3 day ticket
2. The other family is on our Family & Friends list in the iPhone app.
3. The other family has plans managed by them.
4. Were all staying at a Disney resort, another family member booked rooms and added us to the reservation ID (but were not the ones who made that reservation).

Do I need to manage their plans in order to purchase the LLPP for the future date? Or is just being on the family and friends list enough for me to purchase a LLPP for them?

They need to have their plans shared with you. If there are KIDS under 13, the other family member needs to log into MDE on a computer and under whomever might be booking the LLPP click allow insert name to make plans for the guests you manage.

I know that @scrappinginontario ask you in April. I just want to confirm that you really want to purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass (LLPP) which allows guests to visit all LL attractions. For example: LLPP are $359-$429 per per person at the MK for the next 21 days.

If you really mean Lighting Lane Multi Pass (LLMP) then you need to make a list of your groups priority of attractions and when you are purchasing your initial (3) LLMP selections, you will need to select a return time.

I just want to make sure you are prepared for your 7 AM window that opens 7 days before your resort arrival date.
