LL Premier Pass is here!

There’s a difference between keeping it moving, and letting 40-50 people in from the standby line *four separate times* before letting in even one LL party. And at the time, standby wasn’t that long, around the 30 min mark.

This was as unfair as it is when they let in all of the LL people between standby parties each time rather than evenly balancing it out. We go often enough that I recognize normal flow patterns, and this was definitely abnormal and caught more than just my attention.
For the record, we have seen this in DLR a few times lately. It’s the exception, not the rule, but every once in a while (the two that jump out at me are MFSR and Buzz) we’ve seen the empty queue ahead of us and when we get to the merge they let 30-50 people through on the standby side before letting our (small) party in. I really don’t pay close attention and probably wouldn’t have noticed unless it’s far outside the norm.

I wouldn’t have been thrown off quite as much by one batch of 30-50 standby people going ahead, it’s Pirates, so that’s only a couple of boats. It was that the CM let through a huge batch like that, filling one side of the split queue, then a second to fill the other side, then paused both lines, then let in a third batch of 30-50 standby people to fill the first side again, and then a fourth to fill the second side. Smirking at us the entire time. After 4 batches she then let in 3-4 parties from the LL. It was so unusual that it was the topic of conversation between parties while we waited in that last bit of line.

In the grand scheme of things, was it a big deal? No, I was more peeved at the IASW CM that was rushing and not paying attention, and rammed a wheelchair into the back of my ankle as I was leaving the disembark zone. It definitely wasn’t the most fun evening at MK ever. But if we hadn’t had the PP it would have been so much worse. That pass was a sanity saver, that’s for sure. Worth every penny.

Just looked and see that MK is sold out for 11-25.

Wow!!! Man, I hope it's just Thanksgiving week crowds. We want to buy it for the next week. I hate this 7 days out thing. If people know they want to buy it, they should just be able to when ready like the parties or after hours! And then if it sells out, well, you snooze you lose!

It's priced so it won't sellout too early, if ever.
Pricing is only listed a few weeks out.

All evidence suggests you'll have no issue buying it 7 days out. $$$ is the variable.

Would you be interested if you're charged $700, getting a refund when pricing is announced for your dates?

I think you should be able to buy it as soon as the price for that date comes out. So 21 days out and everyone has a fair shot at the date they want.

And it did sell out for MK, on Monday 11/25. I think holiday season is more likely to see some sell outs, especially on days w/out a party as it's very crowded at MK.

A few weeks ago some thought LLPP would be the next starcruiser. Pure profit.

I think it should be a fixed 7 days and not 7 days before your first night.

Monday, November 25th is the only day besides Thanksgiving Day, and Saturday, November 30th without a MVMCP (11/26, 11/27, 11/29) so it makes sense that it might be the first date to sell out.

Yes, that was my thinking. The day we want - 12/4 - is also a non-party day, so that's why I'm a little nervous. But we just talked with other trip people arriving later and if we can't get for 12/4 then we will all buy for 12/10 which is a party day, so I think we wouldn't have a problem getting one for that date (also, it's late in our trip, so easier to get). Maybe it will be cheaper too!

But fingers crossed we can buy on 12/4 for just the two of us.

It would be especially frustrating to have it sell out on your 7-day morning, meaning you have to suddenly plan and book LLMP as fast as possible when your goal was to avoid that. Part of the value for me is not worrying about that at 7 a.m. 7 days before, when I am already on vacation elsewhere.

Yep! I'm the one making reservations for the whole group and now I have back up plans for my back up plans. 😂

I've always said Disney should be better at ratios and it looks like y'all were on the losing end of that this time being in the LL but I don't pin it on CMs doing something nefarious. I think this is a lot more innocuous than you're making it out to be. CMs aren't perfect but the chance of them loading Standby even as you described it to be deliberately punitive towards you in the LL is highly unlikely especially because the LL usually gets such a lopsided priority over standby.

But if it's still sticking with you as a sour experience, it's within your ability to write to Disney about it explaining how you felt purchasing the high dollar LLPP and that you felt a CM was being punitive towards you intentionally, let them decide if it was within protocol or if retraining is needed.

I won't be buying the PP or MP until we're physically at WDW. My family is notoriously unreliable when it comes to Disney (our LLMPs for this weekend are expiring as I type). I miss Genie+.

My back up plan would be getting PP for Epcot or AK. I can't see them selling out at these parks. 🤞

Ok, ya’ll. As others have posted, LLPP is…glorious. Just glorious. I was solo on Thurs and Fri of last week and knew I needed to work some in the morning, so I did Epcot and MK, respectively. My sister/niece joined Fri evenjng, and we did HS and MK on Sat and Sun, respectively. Hot take: Epcot may be more worthwhile than DHS, especially goven the cost difference, and will be a no-brainer once TT is back. I went over at 11 and rode everything included, plus hit some food booths, all very leisurely and relaxed, by 2:45. MK is unequivocally worth it if you can adjust your trip and shift some funds. I headed to MK later on Friday, as well, was in front of Casey’s at 10:30 deciding my direction. By 3:30 pm, I was back at my room having ridden/done everything except the included shows and Dumbo/Aladdin. That included a nice break for lunch. Today, the three of us were in MK at 8:30 am and out by noon! And my niece is a championship dawdler 😂.

DHS, I just feel like if you have a resort stay and understanding of how to work the LLMP and LLSP system/times, it is less cost-effective. My opinion, of course!

Except then the price would come out 35 days ahead. The price will always be out 14-days ahead unless the length-of-visit booking is stopped.

As promised, reporting back on LLPP at MK on Saturday Nov 9th (Veterans Day weekend). Shout out to @Dave006 for all your help in how best to book LLMP in conjunction with my other LLMP bookings @ the 7-day mark.

In short, it was a terrific day! What a treat not to have to worry about booking attractions in advance, being able to jump into LL lines at any time, and not having to look at our phones all day.

As background, it was a non-party day and super crowded. They were also filming the Christmas parade that day. Once I saw the closing time extended to 12 midnight a few weeks ahead, I decided to give LLPP a try (given that we were only a party of 2 and were trying to do 4 parks in 3 days on a holiday weekend 😬)

Hopped on the monorail from Grand Floridian to arrive by 8:30 (EMH for the first 1/2 hour). If you purchase LLPP, a tip here for EMH (or first hour of any morning) is to hop in standby lines for any attractions that don’t yet have lines as you can then use LLPP later in the day to re-ride that same attraction if interested.

We spent a delightful 2+ hours leisurely doing several attractions, breaking for a breakfast snack, and then hopping on the boat back to Grand Floridian by 11 am to take a 3-hour pool & lunch break at the resort.

By 2 PM we were back at MK right as they were starting to film the Christmas parade. That was a total zoo but did catch a glimpse of bits of it. We stayed at MK from 2 PM until about 10 PM and were able to ride every attraction we wanted (skipped a few based on our own preferences). Despite the park being very busy, I don’t think we ever waited more than 5 minutes in a LL line. And also had time for a leisurely sit-down dinner & cocktails at Crystal Palace.

My only wish is that due to the high price point, it would nice if LLPP included a viewing area for fireworks as we ended up standing almost an hour in a spot in order to be able to see the fireworks and projections (fairly close to the castle). Wishful thinking I’m sure, but crowds were super heavy at that point (at unsafe levels frankly if anything were to go wrong within the crowd).

But overall, for our particular situation, I felt it was worth the money. With that said, if they were running the extended evening hours at at MK that week (deluxe resort guests) I would have just done that instead, as find it to be equally beneficial, and it’s free! I assume they weren’t running it due to all of the party nights.

For me personally, it wouldn’t be worth doing LLPP at any of the other parks, but I would probably do it at MK again if I couldn’t do EEH and it was a crowded time of year. It’s a nice option to have.

Happy to answer any questions!

Multiple people have mentioned reserved fireworks or parade viewing as an option. What if it was an "add-on" for an addition fee or if you could cash in X ride(s) for the reserved spot?

Would you consider that worth it?
