We have one day in Dec. at MK on a Christmas party day. Thoughts on if it will be slow enough to skip purchasing a LL pass?

Thurs the 12th, rope drop but hoping for only Tron and a few other headliners

We went on Halloween party days last month. I did one day with LLMP and the other 2 without. Honestly, I think you can probably go without it, but it definitely made the day easier on the day we did. We did a ton of rides and many we were able to get with almost immediate return times for the LL. The other days we also got a lot done, but did have a few waits that we did not have on our LL day. I did pay for Tron on the one day we were there too. We do not wait in long lines because of my Mom and were denied DAS for her, so we did skip Peter Pan, 7 Dwarves, and Tron standby.

I’m planning to visit MK and DHS on party days in December, but have heard mixed reviews. Did you notice less of crowd just while walking around the park?

The park overall did feel less crowded on the party days. We almost always plan our MK days for party days. We discovered long ago those days tend to be less crowded. It does pick up a lot around 3-4 when party guests can start getting in with just the party ticket. But we are usually heading out for dinner around that time so we don't feel them as much.

We visited MK 3 days in Aug, all of which were MNSSHP days. We did not feel the need for LLMP but, we had multiple days to visit. If you are only visiting the MK for one day, while the LLMP may not be 'needed' it will save you time so that you can pack in as much as possible on a day with shorter hours.

Thank you for asking this. We also have Mk on a.party foe.the first week.of December and were so daring the same thing
