Has the drastic decrease in the number of DAS granted reduced the size of the LLs or is it a wash with the preselects?

In August (8-13) they seemed short to us. In past we had to wait in remi from outside the building. This trip we went pretty close to loading honestly

We visited from Aug 7-11 and the vast majority of LLs had less than 5 minute wait — all were walk on to the merge point, except BTMRR after a long operational disruption… one time ToT had a long line after the pre-show room, but it was a noticeable outlier. The rides we did do were noticeably better than our last couple trips before DAS changes, however we didn’t even try two of the worst offenders (TT, Soarin’).

same as others above - LL lines seems extremely short (aug 17-19 park days) relative to prior visits (last one being April). One exception was Tower of Terror - it was running half-capacity and was shut down just prior. Standby was 130 min and cast member said LL was going to be 45 min wait.
One interesting difference - went to MNSSHP on aug 16 and was also at the same party last year right around the same time (mid-august). Last year, the LL lines were crazy long during the party, to the point that in Space Mountain one side was LL only and was continuously busy. This year, there was literally no one using LL lanes during the party. At Space Mountain, both sides were used for standby people. I think I saw a total of 3 different families come up on 3 different rides and they were the only ones coming in through LL. As we know, the only use of LL during parties is with DAS as there's no paid Genie+/LLMP/LLSP available during the parties. That really showed how much the difference was compared to before.

This sounds promising! Good to hear the LL lines are getting shorter.

Just to clarify, we were able to use a ride recovery (from when the ride was down earlier in the day, not a standard late LL return) during MNSSHP… so it’s possibly the LLs could have at least a handful of non-DAS guests—but I agree that that for the handful of rides we did during the party, the regular lines were short and there was almost nobody using LL.
