LIZARD parts found in salad at Applebee's (WARNING! Gross pic!)

Parts of a chopped up LIZARD were found in a take-out salad at OUR Applebee's!!!!!

I know it sounds like something from snopes.com, but it is REAL!!!! My secretary's sister knows the woman who got the salad!!

Well Deb, when I saw your post I thought to myself "Please don't let it be the Santa Fe chicken salad". Sure enough, it was. That has always been my favorite thing at Applebees. Now, I don't know if I can ever eat one again without remembering that picture!

I sincerely hope that it was accidental. it's interesting that the person served the salad isn't suing. That's unusual in this day and age.

I read about this story in the news today. You'll be glad to know the health department tested the lizard head and determined there was no salmonella in the head so they announced the public was not at risk from salmonella from said lizard.

Now, doesn't that make everyone feel better and want to rush out for another salad??
