What’s up with Living with the Land? It’s been closed for three days for no announced reason.
It’s one of our family’s favorite rides!!

I don't think anything official has been released! I guess we will see if it opens today...

The rumor mill is already starting with them adding some form of a lap bar or seat belt. Seriously its all I have seen in the comments and replies of every article posted to social media.

I've read that it was an issue with a fire alarm. From a reputable blog. So it's really anyone's guess. Since it isn't on the schedule it isn't a planned change so unlikely to be adding a sestbelt or lapbar since that would be a known change.

That would be interesting, on an attraction that moves at 5mph (or would that be 4 1/2 knots?!), concerns someone could fall into 12" of water? I'd hope they put seat belts on the Kilimanjaro Safari first!

It is a puzzle, though, as to why it's closed without an announced reason.

That rumor is because in June there were people who got out of the boat and grabbed a cucumber

if they want to put seat belts on it, that's likely not because they think guests will fall out, but in reaction to the recent incident with a guest who climbed out of the boat and picked herself a cucumber.

Still closed today.

If they are doing it it's because some ******* got off their boat to grab vegetables a few weeks ago. Hopefully not though because it would be ridiculous overkill for 1 such incident since the ride has been open.

Makes sense since people were jumping off the boat to pick veggies.
I can guarantee you that my DS would never jump off a boat to pick a veggie. He wouldn't even accept a veggie if a CM begged him to take a veggie wrapped in a $20 bill. I respect my DS' mental strength and will power. Wonder if I can get some of it when it comes to sugar?

Hoping it opens for our last Epcot day. This is one of my favorite rides. We've check two days already & so far no luck.

This is my favorite ride in Epcot... maybe in all of WDW. I know, I'm weird. We'll be at Epcot this coming Wednesday. I hope it reopens. :(
