Does the Living Seas still have that mini-ride with the people-mover cars, or did they get rid of it?

When I was there at the beginning of February the cars were gone, but I have heard that they are back now.
That's all I know about it, sorry.

I was there a week ago (2/26/04) and I didn't see them. We got off the "hydrolators" and just walked around and looked . I never even asked about them.

I was there first of Feb and no cars.

I believe they were called "Sea Cabs", and from what I understand they were pulled sometime after 9/11 at cost-cutting time (and I believe they lost the corporate sponsorship of the Living Seas around that time as well). I'd love to see the Cabs come back, they really just helped you get immersed in the fact that you were going to Sea Base Alpha.

We were just there in December and we had our usual meal at the living seas and then went on the little tour. I think the living seas could use a ride or at least something a little more interesting then your "basic" aquarium. I LOVE the Manatees though....you just can't see them any where else.

There is talk about bringing back the Sea Cabs to tie in with a Nemo attraction.

SeaWorld has an excellent manatee exhibit that far surpasses the one at Living Seas.

I've heard that Homosassa Springs is also excellent, but I have never been there. http://www.manateecam.com/

Now that would be cool! Ride a SeaCab along the EAC to SeaBase Alpha!

That explains it! We were in DW in Feb and neither of us had been to Epcot since '89. We thought we remembered some kind of ride there. but figured we were thinking of something else as it had been awhile.

Glad to know I'm not crazy.

The kids loved the Nemo stuff though!
