I think I am the only person in the world who is fond of Living Seas. I like the mother-in-law tongue sea weed looking grass on the walk up, I like looking at the stuff on the winding cue in, I especially liked seeing the model of the nautilus - that is one of the real models from the film!! I like how calm that big round room is. I don't like the movie too much, but it makes me laugh when Melissa says "and then, the DELUGE," "and it rained, and rained, and rained." I like the hydrolaters, I like it when kids who are just old enough to figure it out start asking questions about it, I liked the sea cabs. I always liked going to see Lydia and Mariah, and I was happy they got to go to the wild. I worried over Lou's tail, that guy is so damaged. I like sitting down in the walk way around through the sea base. I like the idea that it is a seabase. No other aquarium I was ever in told me a story that I had went down into a seabase. It appeals to some jules vern sci fi inner geek in me. I was so happy last time that they added a tank of jelly fish, because I had liked seeing them in the Chattanooga aquarium so much. I always thought that I wouldn't want to eat seafood and look at the fish swim by, but I really like eating at coral reef because you can so leisurely watch outside the seabase. It is relaxing. I just like it.
Melissa said she likes it to, so I don't have to bear the burden alone. I do wish they would put some money into fixing it up, but I'm not sure that I wish they would cartoonize it.
