Went to the AP previews of the new ride at Living Seas (or now called The Seas with Nemo and Friends) and here's a little report:
The exterior is very cutesy - the animatronic seagulls are out front to greet you, and every so often, they'll chime Mine...mine...mine... just like in the movie. Very funny.
The exterior also has the entire Nemo cast in silhouette. Very colorful.
You enter in through what used to be the original entrance, still with the looping queue lanes, this time with Nemo themed artifacts. Then you continue down the very very winding queue lane (I was amazed at how long this area was)
You enter the seashell ride the same way as doom buggies - on a conveyer belt. The seashell holds 2 people or 2 adults with 1 small kid. They're less roomy than a doom buggy, imo.
Anyway, you then move through the ride slowly, in the dark, with blacklight coral reef and animations of Nemo hiding and everyone else trying to find him. You ride through the EAC with Crush and his family (this may make some people dizzy)
At the end of the ride, you move along the bottom edge of the aquarium where you can see some real fish too.
Opinions:
Slow ride that the younger set will enjoy as it is very colorful and cool music. The ride was approx 2-3 minutes long. Very enjoyable
