living seas ride??

anyone remember the seacab ride at the living seas??

someone was telling me about it... what was it like? when did they close it?

anyone know?

Do you mean the slow moving cars that take you to Seabase Alpha after you get off the Hydrolators?

From certain places looking through the aquarium you can still see where they use to run through. They were just little seats on a track that went through part of the attraction....think Spaceship Earth and then you got off and walked through the rest like you do now.

That's because they haven't been there for YEARS!!! Maybe 5-10 years. If I remember right, it was kind of like a train of turquoise vehicles that ran on a track through the aquarium area(?)

Wow!!! I can't believe they aren't there anymore?!?! We go at least twice a year, with my last trip a couple months ago, and I didn't notice that they were gone. Obviously, they weren't all that important to the ride!!

I believe they were removed in late 2001. It was a cool but all too short ride through the large aquarium.

The ride was removed shortly after 9/11 for "certain" reasons!! There is currently no talk of bringing it back!!

Actually.....I've read online rumors (and we all know how reliable they are) that Nemo is going to completely take over the Living Seas and that the little ride might be coming back.

Sure, it's just a rumor, but who knows - it could happen?!?!?!?!?

They stopped the Sea Cabs when they lost there sponsor. No sponsor money so they cut back on things.

I enjoyed that ride, and hope that it does come back in some fashion.

I remember going on it when i went back when the castle was a pink cake (i think 96). I thought it was cool, i didn't know it was gone! I still enjoy the hydroelevators, they are too fun!
