Can anyone share about their experience with the new Finding Nemo section at the Living Seas? Do they actually have the characters there??
Thanks!

We saw no Finding Nemo characters there. One of the rooms at Sea Base Alpha had some aquariums set up with the same fish species as the characters in the movie. There was also a video running hosted by Crush the totally rockin' sea turtle. It made the education less boring.

ADorable! Inside there were no characters but outside before you enter the Living Sea's building Nemo was out there and they also have a display for picture taking. It is completely adorable especially if you have a nemo nut like me.

The inside has aqauariums with the real fish that are in the moivie. That is really cool. All the little ones were pointing them all out. It is really cute!

Yep! Nemo as a "character" can be found outside the entrance to the Living Seas. He is not like the rest of the characters - he is more like a parade float, since Nemo rides on a remote controled platform. Here's a picture:

and there also are some coral characters on stilts. Many guests walking by don't realize they are live people in there!

Hope you find them!

I'm so excited! I haven't been to Disney World since Nemo hit and I would love to see what attractions have been given a Nemo touch. I love the ocean anyway, so I'm a total sucker for anything Nemo-related. It's also one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Outside of The Living Seas is an area with all the nemo guys in a planter. Her is a picture from when we were there in January...

This is one of our favorite spots now. The coral friends are so much fun to play around with. They are great with the kids and adults. Have fun!!!

Just wondering if any real sea turtles are part of this exhibit, or are they just in the main tank?

We haven't visited the Living Seas in many years but Nemo is luring us back!

A gentle bump to see if anyone can answer my question! :Pinkbounc

The only living sea turtles are in the main aquarium.

There is a wonderful sea turtle opportunity at Disney's Vero Beach, if you are interested. The sea turtles come up on the beach there lay, their eggs, and then return to the sea. The eggs hatch and the little sea turtles make their way back into the ocean.

Disney offers a nice little lecture and a lottery to see the females come up to lay eggs (at night).
