Hi! My name is Andrea. I plan on applying for the Spring 2014 DCP after I graduate in the fall. It will be me and my fiance (husband by then, actually!) While he probably will apply for the DCP as a back-up, he's hoping to work for Universal instead. In addition, we just got a new cat that I won't be able to leave behind 
So, we're definitely going to be looking for something offsite.
I was just wondering how the experience compares to living in Disney housing? Am I going to miss out on events since I don't live in the Disney complexes? Can those who live offsite visit the DCP housing when there are things planned/characters visiting? Basically, I'm just looking for tips and experiences with living offsite while on the program - anything and everything!
