Has anybody else registered with live ops and been hired. I just got an email today that they were interested in me. I'm hoping it works out.

Has anybody started working there yet?

I haven't, but would also like to know if anyone has any info. I completed my qualification list months ago and never submitted it!

I just got hired. I actually sent in my application over 4 months ago, and they just contacted me last week offering me a position. I just finished all my training and now I can take calls. I plan on taking my first call tonight.

Did they pay you for training? How much per hour do you get for the calls? What time slots could you choose from?

Sorry for all of the questions, but I have been looking into this and was just wondering...Any info is greatly appreciated!:)

No. Actually the training, you read up on, then take like 10-12 quizes on what you just read. it took me like a total of 2 hours. You get .25 cents per minute for the phone calls.
When you first start, you have to log on to take calls (anytime you choose). After you take your first 25 calls, then you will be able to choose your time slots. So, I can't tell you what I can choose from because I haven't completed my first 25 calls. There are some people on there that said they finished there first 25 calls on there first day, that's what I'm hoping for!!

very interested in hearing more on this Thanks

I just got an email from Live Ops today also...OP, did you ever complete the orientation or find anything more out about this?

Thank you!

I know this is a really old thread, but I came across it in an internet search for LiveOps and was just curious to find out about your experiences with LiveOps. I know it's $50 for the background check, but are there any other fees involved or is that the only thing you have to pay for? I've worked with this type of job before, so I already have what is needed as far as the phone, computer, headset, etc. I received an email from them a while back about this and was wanting to find out a bit more about this and the possible other fees involved. I know the company I was with before you had to pay for a certification course for their company and then pay again for a certification course for whoever you were taking calls for and I was wondering if this was the same way or not. Thanks.

I have worked for years with LiveOps-it has been great to work around my family. during he summers I do very early morning 3-7am and then realy have my whole day free to spend with the kids. Weekends I maybe do a bit more. You do need to like selling as the are very focused on stats I haven't been charged anything since my $50 background check. If you don't have decent credit you would probably not pass the background check and it isn't probably worth it for you. I have worked a few other call centers over the years but always come back to LiveOps

I applied with them and got this response on July 6th, 2011.

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in joining LiveOps' community of independent agents!

At this time, LiveOps does not have any business opportunities for new independent agents. LiveOps expects to need more independent agents in the near future, and will contact you when a business opportunity meets your qualifications.

Look for an email from LiveOps and in the meantime, follow us on Facebook.

Sincerely,
LiveOps

Trust me, places where you really can work from home are swamped with people applying right now, just as with any other job.

I just finished my training for Arise.com. They are ramping up I know as I have seen a lot of opportunities being posted to the opportunities board. Check it out. I work for a wireless provider under them. No problems with getting paid, and I spoke with lots of people before deciding to sign up.

I know if you google you may see that people say they are a scam. Those are people their didn't complete their certification or just quit before really giving it a chance. I've had no issues and neither have any of my friends. Also I had people in my training class that have had family members working there for years.

I won't kid you it isn't easy, but in a few months you will be off and running.

I have never applied to Arise because of all of the fees but I know it isn't a scam and is a good opportunity.

LiveOps may not be bringing on new agents right now try again the first week of September. Summer can be fairly slow. They will often ramp up for the holiday months.
