Thanks for the site info. We made it in 12 hrs later than expected and the 1400 loop was just as you stated in you reply but that didn't last long by 10 pm there were only a few sites open.

MomofSix- Whatever it was that you and your DH heard, it is not the norm. I have stayed in the 1500 loop plenty, and I have not heard the music that you mentioned. I wonder where it was coming from- if it was from the campfire area, it would have been really loud for folks in 1400.



You are right- nothing wrong with the 2000 loop at all!

As far as the hike to the Meadow area is concerned, have you tried walking over to the 900 loop footbridge? Or, just crossing the canal between 2000 and 2100 by foot? It is not a long walk to the Meadow TP at all via one of these routes.

For what it's worth, we heard a lot more noise this trip, including the sing-a-long from the 500's. It was strange, but we finally attributed it to the cool weather. No a/c's were running!! I didn't mind it at all though, zip-a-dee-do-dah is one of my favorites, so I sang along from the comfort of my own site!

Yeah. All of a sudden it's slam packed full over here on the 2000 loop. The state of the comfort station has me wishing I had an rv right about now. Huge lines all morning.
