live update from the fort

Arrived today around 5ish....checked in ...loop 1900... site #1919..... what happened to the " no crowds"? This place is PACKED!!! Standing room only at the campfire....people were even in the lawn on blankets? I'm floored! I don't have wifi access currently maybe tomorrow..by just wanted to checkin and see what the heck is going on that I am missing? Florida holiday?

There's a marathon this weekend, isn't there? That could be why. I know some folks from DH's work asked off to go run at Disney this weekend. Plus the beginning of Food & Wine.

We arrived on Thursday, and loop 2000 was all but empty. By Friday night, all full. By Sunday afternoon, all but empty again. Enjoy it!!

Here in the 700 loop-empty site next to us and across the way. Just want to say...I love the 700 loop!! So close to the marina-we can hear the boat horns, which I love.
